Conception
A&C_IADI was originally conceived by Paola Moscati, who also created the acronym, which recalls the Hyades ("Iadi" in Italian), an open star cluster whose brightest members form the "V"-shaped asterism in the Taurus constellation.
Ideas for the application's design, structure and features were contributed by Irene Rossi and Nicolò Paraciani.
Development
The application is developed and maintained by Nicolò Paraciani.
The source code is released under the GNU AGPL v3.0 open source license and is available as a public Git repository.
Graphics
The banner in the home page was assembled by Nicolò Paraciani using the Taurus silhouette created by Tommaso Ariani (Edizioni All'Insegna del Giglio) and a sky map from the Stellarium software for the star background.
Stellarium is a free and open source astronomical software distributed under the GNU GPL v2 or later license (see also Stellarium's credits).
Acknowledgements
We wish to thank Tommaso Ariani from Edizioni All'Insegna del Giglio, Archeologia e Calcolatori's publisher, for having supplied all the figures from the journal's publications along with their initial metadata and additional information, which were instrumental to create A&C_IADI's underlying database.
